During the inaugural Climate Week Zurich, Innovate 4 Nature hosted a strategic breakfast session on how boards can lead the transition to a nature-positive, regenerative economy in an AI-driven era, together with ESG4Boards and Tetranomics.
As fiduciary duties evolve, board members must guide their organisations toward long-term resilience by integrating next-generation innovation with robust governance perspectives.
A highlight of this session was the introduction of Daphne, an AI agent designed to serve as a non-human stakeholder. Daphne gives a digital voice to nature, indigenous communities, and future generations—stakeholders often missing at the traditional boardroom table. Through a live demonstration and interactive dialogue, we explored how these perspectives can reshape strategic conversations, challenge long-held assumptions, and influence material decision-making.
